Harrington Concrete & Quarries have been involved in some of the largest civil infrastructure projects to take place in Ireland over the last 60 years.
Since the mid 1950s Harringtons have been undertaking contracts from local Authorities, which initially consisted of side dressing roads, road repair and drainage works.
In the beginning all work was carried out by hand with the aid of horse and cart, which has now developed to an expansive fleet of over 300 pieces of plant operated by the company today.
One of the largest and most challenging contracts Harringtons have undertaken in this time was the development and building of Knock Airport (Ireland West Airport Knock).
By the mid 1980s Harringtons had established themselves as competent and reliable contractors, and numerous contracts have been accomplished to date for clients including; the NRA (National Roads Authority) local county councils, Irish Water, CIE, Iranrod Eireann and the OPW (Office of Publc Works).
