Testimonials

I started my apprenticeship in Harringtons in May 2022 as an HGV Mechanic. Since joining I have been provided with all the PPE and safety training courses to make sure I always work as safe as possible. I have also been graciously welcomed by all my co-workers including the garage foreman Ray. In terms of learning experiences, working conditions, etc. the company is far ahead of any of it’s competitors.

I started in Harringtons in late September as a construction plant fitter, the amount of knowledge I have learned in the past few months is amazing. It has given me the knowledge to fix our own machinery at home as well as trucks too. My garage foreman Ray has taught me lots about a variety of different mechanisms in machinery and trucks. If you want to be getting paid to learn, work and go to college this is the career for you!

I had a really good opportunity at Harrington’s during my apprenticeship, I learnt a vast amount each day and any questions I had about the electrical was always answered by my manager and team. The Electrical manager was very helpful and easy work with.
